Meet Evonne

Mother. Business Owner.
North Carolinian.
Evonne is no stranger to hard work. Raised in a family of small business owners, she learned early that perseverance and integrity matter. She believes with hard work and dedication, anything is possible. Raised with a strong moral compass and work ethic, Evonne is true to her word and respectful to others.
Evonne is licensed to practice law in North Carolina, California, and the District of Columbia. Evonne earned joint JD/MBA degrees from the University of San Francisco in 2003 and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Philosophy from Rollins College in 1998
Today, Evonne is a Board Certified Family Law Specialist with a JD/MBA and the proud owner and operator of the Raleigh Law Center. Evonne lives in North Raleigh with her husband, Joe, and their two children.
She works with children and their families every day in Wake County. She volunteers with "The Child's Advocate," a project of Legal Aid, representing children in high conflict custody cases. Evonne is the recipient of Legal Aid's 2024 Pro Bono Hero Award.
As a resident and business owner, Evonne has watched Wake County's evolution and growth.
Evonne will fight to fully fund our public schools, support our teachers, and make sure every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Evonne believes that healthcare is a right, not a privilege. she will fight to expand access, protect reproductive freedoms, and lower healthcare costs for families.
Evonne will stand up for working families by tackling the rising costs of housing, groceries, and utilities so that North Carolina remains affordable.
As an avid hiker, swimmer, kayaker, and boater, Evonne knows how important our parks and waterways are. She will advocate for clean air and water as well as developing public transportation systems and renewable energy.
Wake County is growing rapidly, and our infrastructure must keep up. As a small business owner, Evonne supports growth and development while being mindful of the impact it has on our community. Working together, we can build a State that supports growth and development while also conserving this beautiful place we call home.
Every North Carolinian deserves to feel safe in their home, community, work, and school. Evonne will fight to ensure that our law enforcement and first responders have the resources, education, training, and support they need.
